Alla hjärtans hjärtan

Förra året gjorde vi ett jättejättestort hjärta lagom till alla hjärtans dag. Det som är roligt med sådana projekt är att alla bidrar och det blir ett gemensamt arbete, ett samarbete. Vi tycker så mycket om hjärtat att det fortfarande lyser upp fönstret i verkstan.

Såhär gjordes hjärtat:  Vi använde tjockt brunt papper, typ golvpapp. Två lika stora hjärtan klipptes ut. Barnen målade med olika röda färger, med lite mediumlack iblandat så att det skulle få lite glans. Sen klistrades paljetter och glitter på hjärtat(såklart!). Sen fick det torka. Efter det häftades hjärtat ihop, två hål lämnades och sedan fylldes hjärtat (med toapapper tror jag, men tidningspapper eller vad som helst funkar ju). Till sist stängdes hjärtat och hängdes upp med fint rött sidenband.

Årets variant blev liknande, men barnen fick göra varsitt hjärta (alla unika!). Tekniken är densamma, men årets hjärtan fick också svansar av sidenpapper som viktes och klipptes i remsor. Vi hängde upp alla hjärtan med fiskelina i taket, så nu svävar kärleken på vår avdelning!

 

     

Last year we did a really really big heart just in time for Valentine's Day. What’s fun with these projects is that everyone contributes and there will be a joint effort, a collaboration. We like the heart so much that it still hangs in the window the craft room.

This is how the heart was made: We used the thick brown paper. Two equal-sized hearts were cut out. The children painted with different colors of red, mixed with some medium so that it would get some shine. Then the children glued sequins and glitter on the heart (of course). Then it had to dry! After the heart was stapled together with an opening and then filled (with toilet paper, I think, but pices of newspaper or whatever works of course)Finally the heart was closed and hung with fine red silk ribbon.

This year's version was similar, but the kids got to do their own hearts (all unique!). The apporoach is the same, but this year's the hearts also got tails of silk paper folded and cut into strips. We hung up all hearts with fishing line in the roof, so now love hovers in our department!
